Description

Named for Silverton, Colorado, the Silverton Trail 26 Tortoise takes its cues from steep mountain trails, long climbs, and the rugged terrain of the Hardrock 100. Developed with input from professional ultrarunner Avery Collins, this is trail running eyewear with a specific job to do.

The flexible TR90 frame weighs 23.2 g and uses slip-resistant nose pads and temple tips to help keep the fit secure when the pace picks up. Its tortoise finish brings a classic look to a purpose-built trail frame.

The Trail 26 polycarbonate lenses combine deep notch filtering with partial polarization to manage glare while preserving useful contrast. That means better definition between roots, rocks, dirt, and changing ground textures as you move from open slopes into wooded shade. A 26% visible light transmission (VLT) balances brightness and filtering for varied trail conditions. Existing Method Seven lens copy also specifies UV filtering, anti-reflective, and hydrophobic coatings.
